Pomona Staff & Leadership

The staff and leadership here at Pomona is comprised of people who love, care and are dedicated to every single person in the church. If you have questions for any of our staff, feel free to reach out and email them or call our church office to speak with them.

  • Marcus Allen

    Lead minister

    Marcus Allen & his wife Angie, came to Pomona Christian in 1995 to serve as the Youth Minister. After serving in that role for nearly 9 years, he became the Lead Minister in 2003. Marcus has been serving at Pomona for over 25 years.

     

    He and Angie met while attending Lincoln Christian University and were married in 1993. They have one son, Sean.

     

    The thing he loves most about PCC is the big heart for God’s mission and those who come for the first time. He says, “The church has a wonderful desire to carry out the mission God has for His church and pulls together to get it done!”

     

    He enjoys hunting, fishing, the river, kayaking, sports, music and especially the Denver Broncos!



  • Jeremiah Woodring

    youth minister - Pomona youth

    Jeremiah Woodring has been the Youth Minister here at Pomona for over fifteen years. Jeremiah and his wife Lizzy were married in 2010 and have two children, Norah and Finn. Jeremiah loves working at Pomona for many reasons, he truly values the relationships that he has been able to build. Jeremiah loves sports, participating in CrossFit, watching football. Jeremiah also loves to explore the outdoors and diving into a good book.

  • Troy Vetter

    Administrative minister

    Troy Vetter has been at Pomona Christian for over five years. He loves serving at Pomona because of the people and how the church truly focuses on reaching families in Howell County.

    When not at Pomona; you can find him hunting or fishing, enjoying the Ozarks, working on the farm, or writing. Troy and his wife, Katie, are truly glad to be apart of the team at Pomona.

    early childhood minister - pomona littles

    Taylor has lived in West Plains her entire life and has been an active member at PCC since nursery age. She married her husband, Kameron, in April 2017. Taylor's free time is spent playing tennis, enjoying the outdoors, binge watching Netflix and playing cards with her family. God gave Taylor a heart for children, and He has blessed her with many opportunities to show them His love.

  • veronica aichele

    kids minister - pomona kids

    Veronica grew-up in Springfield, MO but has family roots in Pomona. She met her husband, Justin, while preparing to go overseas. They have spent the last fourteen years in North Africa making disciples among Muslims with their two children, Ellie and Alex. While in North Africa, Veronica helped start and direct an international school. She has a big heart for children and families, and is excited to serve and love the body at PCC. Her hopes for PCC would be that we would be a people marked by the love of Jesus Christ and that our love would extend throughout Howell county as we boldly and zealously live out the Great Commission as ambassadors for HIS Kingdom. In her free time, you can find Veronica drinking coffee, reading a good book, watching Hallmark Christmas movies, enjoying the river and going on hikes with her family.

    Administrative assistant

    Liz Bolander has served as the church secretary since June 2014 and Treasurer beginning in 2015. She and her husband Mark married in December 1992 and immediately moved to Alaska for 9 years. They returned to Missouri in 2001 to raise their growing family closer to home.  The have 5 children; Drew, Peyton, Mason, Lily and Simon, one daughter in law, Emily and a brand new grandson Henry. In her free time Liz enjoys enjoys working with the school booster club, sitting in the stands cheering on her kids, and Netflix marathons.

  • tj ryan

    building manager/custodial Staff

    TJ Ryan was born and raised here in the Ozarks. Graduating from Willow Spring High in 2015, TJ has been working at Pomona Christian Church since the spring of 2017. TJ enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors. TJ also enjoys playing sports and strumming his guitar. He is thankful to be apart of the team at PCC and looks forward to continuing to be apart of the church in the future!
